1 in 5 children do not survive cancer.

Why is research needed?

Research is needed because one in five children do not survive cancer. This is unacceptable. Our Children deserve better options.

The young bodies of survivors are often damaged due to the current treatments of radiation and chemotherapy. Research can provide less toxic and more targeted options producing better results with less side effects.
Beyond research what can be done?

Be the voice for kids and advocate by joining the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN). You will be notified on ways to influence change and impact the future of cancer from gaining dramatic increases in funding for cancer research to ensuring that all Americans have access to cancer care. You will be notified when legislators are making important decisions in regard to pediatric cancer.
